A few month ago I came up with the idea to make a big ACEO / Kakao Set with personifications of all chess figures. Tbh I'm no big chess player nor am I good at it, bur since my childhood I had a fascination for 'game figures' like in chess or cards etc. It's neither original nor exciting but hell, it's awesome to work at the character concepts. My favorite part is to widen the features as in: it's so tiring to draw always the pretty white blonds! (Uhm, yeah, shoot me for my White Queen BEING the pretty white blond. BUT- I have my reasons! And I hope to explain them one day to you :3)

So this is, yes, no ACEO but was made for my first convention table as poster which hang all the time above me *g* (The con itself was a big experience for me. Mind. Blown! <3) Nevertheless it shows my White Queen whit her rook (the young knight on the left), her knight (the young lady on the right) and her bishop (the quite older lady on the top). (And in the back the vicious pawns, pretty much based on the german term for pawn "Bauer" - 'peasant'.)

There was a lot of gross sobbing involved while drawing, but I like the outcome and should more often bust my ass a bit more! ">.>
